My friends call me “Old Angler.” At first, my YouTube channel only featured catches and laughter by Lake Venice. Occasionally, I'd have my EDC pocket knife make an appearance to cut line or trim tackle—never expecting everyone to take such a keen interest in these little tools.

So I started sharing dedicated knife videos, eventually traveling to knife shows across Europe. At a Milan exhibition, I met Marco and Luca—we'd debate handle curves over espresso until late into the night. These passionate discussions sparked an idea: “Why not design a knife truly suited for anglers' daily needs?”

I sketched countless designs until finally crafting the prototype—the “Slim.” It had to swiftly cut through tangled fishing line, feature a precise tip for unhooking fish, and offer a secure grip even with wet hands.

Now, I have a small workshop in Verona, filled with fishing rods and design blueprints. What makes me most proud is that two knife companies have already begun collaborating with me. The journey from fishing blogger to independent maker is like waiting for a fish to take the bait—it requires patience, but when the harvest comes, it's all worth it.
